RTW Veteran Center opens its Liberty 250 Theater with jazz held on three nights in April.
Along with marking the theater's grand opening, the series, which is free and open to the public, celebrates America's 250th and African-American military history. Hosted by Northern Illinois University, the performances will feature young musicians and professional jazz artists.
