About the event
Celebrate America's 250th year and join us for our biggest fireworks display!
Kick off the day with our Independence Day Run/Walk (5k/10k) bright and early at 8:30 AM.
Join us that evening starting at 5:30 PM with food vendors and live DJ entertainment by Behind the Beats, then stick around for the DeKalb Municipal Band's Star Spangled Spectacular, which starts at 7:30 PM. Fireworks start at approximately 9:10 PM. (Please leave your dogs at home; dogs will be prohibited in Hopkins Park after noon on July 4, 2026.)
